SGN:LTD are proud to present the debut EP from Mistrust, a young Cambridge-based producer displaying alarming maturity in writing tasteful drum & bass music across the spectrum of the genre.

‘Dreamer’ opens, warm pads and ethereal voices building into a drop packed full of minimal funk. Calling on the enchanting vocals of Leo Wood, ‘Trickster’ follows. Nostalgic keys, tight drum work and spacious atmosphere lead the way, interweaving with Wood’s captivating top line. Title track ‘Forbidden’ is all about the breaks. The driving sub bass is interjected with light, entrancing drums, chopping vocal and an arpeggiated synth that wouldn’t be amiss from the Stranger Things soundtrack. ‘Only Ever You’ closes, a sentimental liquid bubbler that’s built for the summer.
