Hitting you where it hurts to kick off 2014, we immediately come with some heavyweight artillery from label debutant, Ed:it.
With a handful of releases already through the likes of Commercial Suicide, Blu Mar Ten and Rooted Recordings, Ed Warrener is already building up quite a reputation with his slick production and here is no exception.
The lead track is tough! Full of dub influence and battle percussion that marks its territory early on as the intro rolls out, before the vox signals it’s time for the ‘Sound Killer’. Shifting mood somewhat but still keeping things full-on, Ed:it selects a tight two-stepping break for ‘I Would’ which creeps up on you its revolving pads and sweeping vocal giving some light the bassline’s dark brooding undertones.
