No newcomers in the french drum and bass scene, The Funktastics are parisian junglists of the early days. Having combined as a trio in 2004, a distinctive 'funk filled' sound has developed between them, merging the spirit of Motown, Stax and lesser known soul outlets with the bigger bassier sounds of their drum and bass influences.

The mystical, yet slightly harder edged sounds of Angel Story on the flip, offers a perfect compliment to the A-side. The combination of sublime strings, and funk stabs set the mood, whilst the contrast of subtle synth rises and pulsing bassline make sure that this hits home on the dancefloor.
