Showcasing the next wave of drum & bass talent, Shogun Audio unveils Point Of Origin Vol. 5, the latest instalment in its acclaimed compilation series dedicated to spotlighting emerging artists from across the global drum and bass scene.

The artists featured on Point Of Origin Vol. 5 join an esteemed lineage of alumni from previous editions, including Serum, Voltage, Document One, Monrroe, Gray, Sustance, QZB, and T95. All of whom have gone on to become recognised names within the genre.

The first single  is ‘Smooth’ from rising producer Tian, a track that lives up to its name while delivering serious low-end weight, anchored by a rolling, swagger-filled bassline. Laced with a vocal sample full of effortless cool, ‘Smooth’ strikes a refined balance between attitude and atmosphere, marking Tian as one to watch as Shogun’s acclaimed platform once again pushes fresh names to the forefront of the D&B scene.
